Ive read a little bit in here, and I see the majority of everyone is just running a power programmer, from Superchips or Hypertech. Why? I am seriously considering purchasing a Banks Six Gun Bundle. And well... Im a little concerned that I havent read to many people are running something from Banks. From what little I have gathered, it seems as though Banks is my go to performance place. Help please.

I've heard lots of negative when it comes to banks stuff. Alot of warranty issues and support. Also it leaves evidence of having a tuner at the dealership, by the way it taps into a wire. Unless that has changed. I personally run and love the edge juice Platinum and A2 monitor.

I would go with a chip. Check out dp-tuner.com. I did alot of research before getting mine, and asked alot of questions. The guy's name is Jody Tipton, and if you do an internet search, you won't find a bad word said about him or his tunes. Him and his wife, Diane, are the pure definition of customer service. He will custom tune your truck to what you are looking for, and change it for you if there isn'n something that you like. With the programer, you can't call them up and get something tweaked a little bit to your liking. I just went to a dyno event, and some of the guys were running big name brand programers in the extreme setting. Jody's 80 hp tune was in the same range as thier extreme, and his tunes run cooler too. I have a selectable knob on the dash, so I can run in the 80 setting, and if I need more power, all I have to do is turn the knob to 120. Michael
