I will agree with you, there is a lot of hot air that gets posted on this website from people who don't know any more than how to put fuel in their "hot rod" diesel, so it doesn't make much sense to me to talk trash to someone who might know what they're talking about. It burns my ass when I read a post from someone who clearly has no idea what they're talking about but just because they drive a diesel, that makes them an expert, especially when they try to answer a question from some guy who just wants an honest answer with accurate info. So don't get mad and talk crap to me when I confront someone who is talking straight bs out of their ass.

i agree 100% man. i never claim to know everything. i learn things from people on a daily basis. about all the big 3. and it drives me insane when some idiot as you speak "only knows how to put fuel in there hotrod diesel" thats a good quote i like that. its people like that that destroy these forums. there are way to many dmax bens out there. hell the way i look at it at least we on here dont drive around in the ricers with the fart cans and all that crap so thats a good start. just need to get rid of all the ignorance!!!

For first your wrong Mr. Dodge it is a 6.4 liter dual turbo diesel. Now I have a 32 foot flat deck trailer that can hall 32000 lbs and my powerfull superduty can tow 24000 lbs. I passed dodges doin 120 km per hour on an incline with a 26000 pound load and had no problem. And further more look on youtube  "powerstroke pull off" , you will see.

Hey man, you can't take an old beat up work truck to go get lunch, you gotta go in style, you know, spoil yourself a little. But seriously, why do you think we work on so many Fords? Every oil and methane company in town has fleets of Fords, not to mention the contracting companies and coal mines. They're the main reason why our business is doing so well. I might talk trash about Fords from time to time but in my business you don't bite the hand that feeds. I just try to keep people honest, just because you drive a Ford doesn't mean it's the baddest truck on the road and everything else is junk, it just suits your needs better and you like it.

The reason Ford and Dodge are loaded down is that they need extra load for traction to get the rear wheels to grab dirt and move the truck and if the chevy is the lunch truck they all must know that chevy looks better on the road and can stand all the weight in the cab and they wont have to worry about the truck breakin down.

well the dodge is there to  waste gas, and sit on the side of the road with the driver sayin "hey look at me a drive a cummins and think im cool," but we all know they get a few blocks down the road and say o *** im out of gas. then the chevy boys, get a 8" lift kit, throw some 35's on and make sure it stays polished at all times. i bet those trucks never hit dirt because they will rattle the bolts loose. then the superduty guys, no need for the big lift to make us look good, we can roll on stock wheels even, plus we can hit dirt and guess what, the truck stays in tact. why waste your time on a cummins fuel burner or a chevy pretty boy truck. get a real truck that does what trucks are suppose to do.

It's obvious,to me,that the 1st thing to not choose is the -'07 PStroke.HEUI is,as stated in many DP articles, not the choice injection system. Now,it's simply a matter of loyalty which you choose: Dmax or Cummins. From the factory, the Duramax has always had the highest power ratings and seems to be most efficient in putting the power to the ground.Plus,it comes with the amazing Allison from the factory. But,the factory numbers are not much bigger than Cummins.Sure,a big 6.6 V8 sounds the best, but those Cummins can do some impressive things.I hate to say it because im partial to Dmax, but the Cummins is the mainstream choice for performance.Us Dmax drivers have the advantage of EFI live.I heard in the near future,it will be expanded for use in Chrysler and even FoMoCo.Now,with the '08+ plus trucks,i think Cummins should be crossed off the list. With new trucks, most start with modest power but are more into the nice interiors.Chrysler fails with the interior.I considered even going with the newer 6.4 Stroker. It seems much better in design than the previous PStrokes.Admit it,Ford knows how to make a good lookin truck, inside and out.But i will stay with my '06 LBZ...
