It would be a my 03 F350 Lariat crew cab dually 4x4, with a cummins 12v and the allison tranny. I've always been a ford fan and although Ford has stood behind their truck(New 04 motor at 72k) I think that would be the perfect truck. I heard that Ford actually owns cummins, but because of contracts can't put it in their trucks. Anybody know if thats true?

i'd love a GMC Yukon or Cadillac Escalade with a cummins or duramax... rather have the cummins... or even a jeep cherokee or toyota 4-runner with something along the line of a 4BT cummins. same reason i built my 77 cherokee with a 12 valve
J.E.E.P: Just Everybody Elses Parts 1977 Jeep cherokee w/ 12 valve cummins, NV4500, NP205, DANA 60 front axle and DANA 70 rear axle...

I think that the ideal truck would be a Ford Crew cab short bed body with a Cummins 5.9 common rail twin turbo with the Allison 6 speed and the Ford transfer case. That is the Holy Grail of drivetrains. If you got beat by anyone it would probably be diesel drag truck and not a daily driver.

I would have to say it would be a Superduty (pre-08 body) with a 5.9 Cummins and the Allison tranny...Its a shame it would take all 3 brands together to make ONE good truck.

man think about it a ford dually with a 3112 or 3204 cat and a 13spd wow that would be an awsome truck but now that cat will no longer be building engines for over the road trucks starting in 2009 thats really sucks !!!! so i'm in the procees of sticking a twin turbo 6v53 with a yep 13spd in my lifted ford crew cab dually it will have 6" pipes on it too .......... more to follow !!!!
