i just got my first diesel it is a 2005 F-250 lariat, 4 door, short bed, 4x4. it has the 6.0L V-8.
i am wanting to upgrade the exhaust to a 4 inch true duals with 6 inch tips.
my cool air-system is stock. i am thinking about air aid or S@B.
my thoughts on a programmer is banks, bulldog, edge, or superchip.
i pipeline for a living. i am going to use it to pull my travel trailer.
thanks for reading. any thoughts or opinions welcome

i just received the S&B intake for Christmas and put it on yesterday (a '99 7.3).  the fit and finish isn't what i was hoping for.  the intake tube rubs against the air tube coming off the intercooler and there's a 1/4-1/2 inch gap between the intake and the fender wall, which will allow warm air from under the hood to get in.  i'll take it back off in the next month or so to modify it to where it fits better.  there are some other little things that didn't fit quite right either.  i didn't have to modify anything to get it in, but to make it fit good i will.  seems there should've been more r&d on this before it became a final product.
the turbo is more audible, but that's going to happen with most any intake upgrade.
i have noticed a bit more pep though.

i put an air raid on a gasser some years ago and if i recall correctly that went in w/o a hitch... it was a well made well designed product.
hope this helps.
Whip: '99 F250

I have the Airaid and Bully Dog Triple dog w/Outlook on my 06 F250 Harley Davidson with the 6.0L.
Both were easy to install.
The Airaid fit with no problems and the pillar pod mount for the outlook looks great.

Thanks for posting Berry!
As soon as they offer a Ranger with a Diesel in America, I'll be the idiot camping out in front of the Ford Dealer!
