whats with all these ford haters chevy branched off of ford,, FORD MADE THE FIRST TRUCK,, and the only reason why the ford lacks in power is because it dosnt pump as much gas into the engine as fast,,, u can up grade that with ease,,, chevy is just peace of *** china crap,, the only difference between a gmc and a chevy is the name,, chevy already has the cross for the tombstone as a logo,,, atleast ford and dodge have there own ballsy look,, a chevy has the look of a grandma truck,,, cummins has balls and strokers have just as much,,, but chevy is gross

I HAVE BOTH A DMAX AND CUMMINS. I AM ON THE 14TH TRANY IN THE DODGE AND AS FAR AS SOUND THEY SOUND THE BEST WITH A MUFFLER. I HAVE NEVER HEARD A 6 CYL THAT SOUNDED GOOD. MY CHEVY NEVER A PROB. I LIKE BOTH.THE CUMMINS IS A GREAT MOTOR BUT NO BETTER THEN THE DMAX. CHEVY HAS THEM BEAT HANDS DOWN.  

I have not heard of a single transmission going in the new dodges. (Aison) they seem solid as *** and lol u pull ur chevy up here, we'll both hook onto 15 000 pounds and i guarantee u the cummins will eat ur duramax. lol i like chevs bud and i like the duramax, in fact owned an 05 duramax, loved the truck but it aint a cummins. the truck threw u in ur seat good just like a big block v8 gasser. but loaded it dont hold up nearly as good as the big rig cummins engine. And those front ends lol. within a year of buying my 05 i had to completely replace the howl thing. woulda cost me about 5 g's but warranty is good for that! anyways guys lets keep this goin. Sorry i dont meen to sound like im dissin anything, cus i really dont care but im stating facts, as far as iv seen and heard. Up here in the north, frost heaves are everywhere so when the snow is melted in the few summer months we have. the roads are exposed, and they kill trucks. If u had a chev here over a year i guarantee u, ud be replacing the front end. Id bet lots of money on it! every single person i know with a chev here has had it done atleast once, most several times. and we all drive newer trucks. down south id bed they are fine 90% of the time.

Us cummins guys are keepin it straight, those other guys swing both ways. lol

I am looking to trade in my Chevy gas 4X4 ang get a diesel. However, the issues with the injectors and the horror stories are making me think I should avoid buying a Chevy Dmax or an F250. I can't afford a new one so I thought I'd be safe with an 05' but it does not appear that way. Any thoughts?
