What kind of transmission were they running (brand)? Also on The turbo they were running does it have a lot of turb lag? Can you still tow with it? I drive my truck everyday. Any answers would be appreciated thanks Jeff

They did the tranny build up a couple of issues ago, I'll try to find which one and let you know, unless someone beats me to it. All I know right now is that it was the stock tranny built in the pages of DP mag.

Can anyone show me where - on the site - they are describing this? I saw in the magazine that they wrote there would be more info here, but don't find any.

There's multiple "rumors" regarding who built the tranny in X. If I have my ducks in a row, I believe it was a NADP build up. If it wasn't, it probably shoulda been 
Greg Hogue is incredibly accessible via a number of diesel forums, as well as myspace. And believe me, once you get him talking about X, you'll get more information than you ever wanted.
