I would like to replace the front sway bar end links on my 2000 F350 4x4 because they rattle and make noise when I hit bumps. I have checked every parts store around and no one can come up with the right part. Their books show a 8.6" long link with a stud in one end. My truck has 12" center to center end links.
Any idea what my problem is or when I can come up with the correct parts?
Thanks, jeff

Do youhave to replace the whole link or can you just replace the bushings and bolts if needed? Many internet parts companies offer urethane replacemant bushings for other suspension components.

I have 03 6L PSD with the same thumping problem when going over bumps and etc. Checked all kinds of after market places to change the OEM sway bar bushings to urathane and no luck (even though there are many reputable manufactures).
Today a local reputable 4x4 off-road shop looked at my truck and said the main sway bar bushing can only be replaced with Ford OEM parts as the bushing are vulcanzied into the unique housing.
I have been replacing all parts needing replacing with high performance parts as I intend to keep the truck until it dies.
So I am convinced there must be an aftermarket solution.
Keep me posted if you find one adn I will advise if I get any luck.

Just ordered some replacement bushings from autozone today. I will find out in a day or so if they work.

Parts stores like Autozone should have replacement bushings that should work, like 222 said.
As soon as they offer a Ranger with a Diesel in America, I'll be the idiot camping out in front of the Ford Dealer!
