I'm sure you meant to say "The 7.3 the best diesel Navistar ever built hands down" because as good as the 7.3 is, it certainly isn't the "the best diesel ever built"!

yeah ill agree to that its the best diesel ford had hands down, but there are better motors out there. im not bashing chevy but it took what 30 years for them to find a good diesel engine. dodge has a good package with the cummins but it took them a while to find a good auto to handle it. every motor and every truck has its pros and cons.

yeah too bad ford couldnt talk CAT into making their engines instead of going with navistar

Only one Problem with the CATs Piss poor fuel economy.Otherwise don't you think Chevy would have gone with them in their 2500Hd trucks well besides the fact that they still carry the IFS.

So! The only reason Chevy didn't go with a Cat in their 3/4 ton was because of "piss poor fuel economy". Well I see you haven't gotten any smarter.
