Does anyone know any thing about the integrated trailer-brake controller for the Duramax. And is it anything like the one F-250 or the 350 has on the Ford trucks.

Yeah, it's on the newly redesigned Chevy and GMC Heavy Duty trucks. It's on the left side of the steering wheel down below the light controls and all. It doesn't look nearly as extensive as the Ford's and it doesn't have an LED display showing the gain level.

I have an 04.5 Dodge 2500 QC 4x4 (600 Cummins) w/auto trans...weighs around 7,000 give or take I'm guessing. I get 18 city / 22 plus on the highway. I'm almost stock except for the straight pipe, some mods to the air box and I took out the silencer and x thing in the torque tube. Even running the regular air filters, nothing fancy. I do put in about 8 oz. of the diesel clean powerservice everytime I fill up.

Hey, i'm new to this forum! But have been on several others. I've got an issue with EGT and milage, i think! I've got an 2006 F-250, 4X4, CC/short bed, 6.0 *** Auto w/ 3:73 gears. Modifications are Bully dog power-pup w/outlook, airaid air filter, power-elbow, 35" Kuhmos-MTs and no muffler. I get 14.5-15.1 mpg in town, 16.5 - 16.9 mpg on highway. And EGTs run unloaded @ 850 - 975 degrees.Does anyone else see these high EGTs?
2006 F-250 FX4, C/C Lariat, 6.0 w/ Auto. Bullydog Powerpup w/ outlook, Power-Elbow, Airaid cold air,35" Kuhmo-MT, Muffler delete pipe.

My brother has an '04 6.0 that is bone stock and his milage is very comparable, although he only has about 30k on the truck. As far as the EGT's I don't think that is too high, but I am no expert. Some of the after market companies limit their controlers to shut down over 1500 degrees. If your running 975 your probably O.K.

I have an 05" 6.0L, 8" lift and 22's with 37" MT and I get 16 highway and 13 city. I run around that EGT at 85 MPH. Around town if I'm not playing its between 550-750.

My 03 4X4 gets about 14 in town and a best of 18.5 on the highway (these are based on a 24-26 gallon fill up). I'm pretty sure these numbers are low since it had 4.11s and 33s when I bought it. If it didn't cost so much, I'd put 3.73s in both axles.
2003 6.0 PSD, Edge Juice Platinum, Airaid/big ol'hole ram air, 4" turbo-back, TureTrac, 5" lift, 35X14.5 Toyos,& bright RED!!

02 4X4 F-350 crew cab short bed, sitting on 35x12.50's with a leveling kit 3.73 gears. AEM Brute Force intake, 4" MBRP turbo back exhaust, hypertech III programmer. 18-19 mpg city 25-27 mpg highway (70-75 mph 1,800 rpm) Have got up to 28 mpg on highway before as well. 14-15 mpg city 18-19 highway towing. That is with a 25' gooseneck loaded with anything from my L-35 kubota backhoe, 3 rhinos, 1 mule, 1 go kart, and 2 quads.

OK, '04 F-250 with a manual, smaller tires, Bully Dog integrated system, including intake 4"exhaust and an early box- 19.5 MPG highway at 70-75 MPH. It should be better than this, I think! May have been due to an involuntary factory retune (detune) I fought against, but lost. Early EGTs were quite toasty- around 900 degrees in town! (Bully Dog pre-turbo gauge). EGTs dropped after 1.) new exhaust installed and 2.) Involuntary detune.
Also noted that the EGTs dropped an average of 50 degrees when moving down from 6500 ft to sea level. Maybe the denser air down here; also reduced turbo lag.

Ok first post NEED HELP FAST MPG SUCKS I bought a 2005 dodge 4:10 gears DW auto trans 4 X 4 at woodhouse ford/ dodge in Blair Ne I have drove it 21000 miles since Jan 5th Yes 21000 miles in about 30 days I am running strait pipe no muffler or res. I put predator programmer in mpg mode setting 2 Wow it runs great but with or without programmer mpg is 8.2 to 9.2 average my low is 5.2 to 5.9 and my best 13 and that was one tank and this is correct mpg checked by odometer I am towing about 6500 # enclosed but get about 1/2 gal mpg better with the flat bed. Truck has 100003 on chassis but engine pump and turbo was replaced at 71000 75000 78000 miles they have put 3000.00 worth of new parts in 20000 miles on it new valve body new alt exhaust melted old one new exhaust manifold turned front rotors new front axle joints new rear joint ect. We have talked about them buying it back will know Monday if that is going to happen. I have talked with about 50 dodge owners yes 50 and two other dealers they all say something’s wrong with the mpg I pulled a camper for a guy 2100 mile who has pulled it with his dodge 5 time that far and he said the worst he has gotten is 11.5 on a very windy tank that he gets about 15 to 16 with it and 18 to 20 empty but he has a 3/4 ton it has used 12 quarts of oil if not more I think the oil went up a quart I checked it it was down and now its full. I think fuels going in oil and burning it or it’s going out the tail pipe. I have herd they have had an injector problems or some return problems please help Brett 515-321-2777

looks to me like you got a really crappy dodge... now he dont have it any more but my dad had a 04 powerstroke... and he got it from woodhouse... he has now upgraded to the 6.4L... anyway im not sure what to tell you... umm... that sounds like a really shitty pickup... no offense... i havent heard of a dodge being that bad... but... the mpg should be way more... should be like 12 under a trailer at least. anyway hopefully woodhouse will buy it back... that is a sorry excuse of a pickup... no offense to you at all... but im sorry that all that crap is hapening to you... that sucks bro... sorry.
