Do an in depth article on the Alberta Oil Sands Project in Canada. Tell the Americans about the size and the product that is already being pumped to the USA for refining. This is huge and the money being spent and made is amazing. And Guess who has their hands in the money pot? Good old lady England and the Queen!!! How does England glean profits from Canada. We have to win another war over England to send them home for good from North America!!! The Queen HUH???!!!

i love the mag and the website! i like the articals on upgrading parts and how to's. i would like to see some spec sheets/what parts the pro's use. i want to know what everyone is using on their trucks especially cummins engines. also when you display dyno graphs with power parts in the mag tell us about the drivability of the product also not just how much h.p it makes. show more readers rides more drag pacing and sled pulling. like the magazine says DIESEL POWER!!!

I really like the magazine and your web site.  No other magazine like it around!  One thing I'd like to see more of is step by step installs with lots of photos for different power mods.  I like to see what a truck looks like and performs like before and after the modifications.  And to go along with the prior post, I'd like to hear about drivability and functionality and not just how much HP or torque the truck produces.

Keep up the great work!!

I also realy like the mag and web site it has been a god sent and it has exposed more people to the benifits of diesel. some thing i would like to see is a 7.3L build up i own a 00' F-250 and i have done some things to it but i realy want to know more about the motor and what it can handle before i doo to much. i am just getting tired of all the articals on cummins, duramax, and the worst of all the 6.0powerjoke. so please help us 7.3L owners out a little.

How about having a contest to see who is the King of High Miles on one truck or SUV or Jeep. Make it simple and have a nice prize for 3 places or something like that for runners up. Give them fuel cards or merchandise cards for showing how far they have driven a diesel vehicle. The requirements of stock modified or routine use should apply. I bet there are some good stories out there about the working high mile rigs people use and use up!!! Make it open to a little pregame announcement!!

hostile- check www.thedieselstop.com all the info you need.

my suggestion would be a corrections page. i haven't seen that before. now i've gotten a lot of love in this mag and i'm grateful. but i did the diesel power challenge west and i didn't get credit for a 1/4 mile time. i missed 2 days of work and spent a good hunk of change to make it happen. i would just like to see credit for what i completed. as well i saw that you guys said the optical pickup on the dyno wouldn't work properly on the block because of weak motor mounts, but it was because of a coolant hose in the way. regardless, david and bob rock. they did a great job and i hear the east event was pretty cool as well.

First off love the magazine!!  Wish you all were around years ago.  I think you magazine is perfect just need to put more readers rides in it.  Seems like when you see a truck like yours, you read the upgrades and storey with it and compare to your own.  It inturn gives you a different twist to the same truck. Keep up the good work! "Oh how I love the smell of diesel smoke in the morning".

Love the magazine guys keep up the great work.  Why don't you make an actual forum or if you continue to use the message board would you consider more of a setup similar to your sister rags petersen's, and fourwheeler's forum setups with tech section, general discussion, project vehicles, magazine suggestions, and ford v. dodge v. chevy.  Thanks agains for the great mag and keep up the good work!

Really like Diesel Power Magazine.  I really enjoyed the article on Air Boxes and the Shoot out.

I was really suprised that it was brought out in the article that the stock air box flowed just about as good as any of the aftermarket types.

Knowing this, I just modified my stock airbox, (Described elsewhere on the forum, so I won't bore you with the crude details)

I like the advertisements, I go to a lot of the web sites, and have ordered, Gauges, EGT, Boost and Transmission Temp and installed them in a Dash mount.  All purchased from your Advertisements.

Also from RPM Outlet I ordered a MotoBlue 4" exaust system and installed that myself.  (Hardest part was getting all the stock stuff off, working in my carport with a hammer and cold chisel.)

But I enjoyed it greatly. (I'm 62 years young.)  I have XM satellite radio, installed myself, Have a Ham Radio (N0LZS), the 0 is numeric, not an alpha O, should have a slash through it but you can't hold down the alt key and punch 255 anymore to get the slash 0.  My ham radio puts out 100 watts and was installed by me.  The antenna is a stealth Perth 4.5 foot and transmits on any frequency from 2 meters though 80 meters.

I'm always looking for something to do, as I am a retired Master Gunnery Sergeant (E9) of Marines, so I await your magazine eagerly each month, to steer me onto a new project.

Semper Fi

Only suggestion I can think of for the forum is possibly a Spell Checker. This could help some posters.
Happy Trails

Well, I'm interested in reading on a Big Three Build Off.  Get some sponsors together and have a build-off of 3/4 tons.  Who can make the fastest 3/4 ton regcab longbed; one Duramax, one Powerstroke, and one Cummins.  Give them a budget of say $10,000 after the purchase price of the truck and make them street legal and daily drivable.  Report on all aspects of drivability like fuel mileage, road manners, and kickin' butt.

Also, how about a dedicated section for the reader's diesels.  I'll be e-mailing in some pics of my 2000 F-350 as soon as I get some time and find a car-wash that is big enough.
