I have a 2003 Dodge Ram 2500. I am looking to get some bigger tires of it and am wondering if a 285/70/r17 will fit? Any advice would be appreciated.

Yup those should fit with no problem.
As soon as they offer a Ranger with a Diesel in America, I'll be the idiot camping out in front of the Ford Dealer!

my brother has a 2006 ram 2500 w/ a cummins. he put 35" tires AKA 315 70 17's on his truck and he ended up with better fuel mileage... he has so much power as it is, that they lowered his hiway RPM and gave him better mileage. we compared it with both his original fuel mileage, and with my grandpa's truck which is identical to his w/o the oversized tires
