I just caught the last few minutes of a Pimp My Ride episode where they took a '65 Impala and crammed a LBZ twin turbo under the hood.  800 ponies and a 0-60 in 3.5 seconds (if they showed a 1/4 mile time, I didn't see it).  They showed it racing a Lambo and beating it.  Editing can do wonders though, so DP needs verify in an up coming article.
My girlfriend was even hyped about diesel at that point and told me she needed one...
Oh yeah, and I think it was running B100

Looks like the guys at DP already knew of this... I emailed the editors and here's the response from Trevor Reed:
"We will have a feature on the Pimp My Ride “Bio Rocket” in the July issue of Diesel Power (on sale June 12th – up to a week earlier for subscribers). We went over to the GAS shop and got to spend some time looking under the hood and crawling under the Impala, and it’s just as cool as you’d hope. It’s great to know that a Duramax and the Allison transmission can fit in a classic GM musclecar – maybe I can have one someday."
