was wondering if this is a pretty easy swap. was going to look for a stock turbo system from a 6.5 and put it on my 6.2

a while back on ebay i saw a whole swap from a 6.5 for a non turbo gm and it included turbo, manifolds, intake, oil lines and for some reason the injection pump. i would not think you would need the injection pump but i am definetly not a diesel mechanic.

Banks has a complete turbo kit and includes a 3" pipe front to rear. its going to be a lot more money but you don't have to find a donor truck. As for the injector pump I don't think you will need to change it. The pump, however, will have to come off the truck and "turned up" to allow for more fuel into the engine.

You don't have to pull the IP to turn it up on the 6.2. The cover comes off the engine has to be rotated to a certain point and its an allen bolt adjustment. Forget which direction turns it up however. I need to do mine as my EGT says I got lots of room to go.
