If you don't want to take our advise and burn ATF, well then fly at 'er my friend. You didn't say what diesel you run...but let's use a 6.0 Ford for example...8 injectors at $1000.00 apiece...another $2000.00 or so to install...yep $10,000.00 well that seems like a whole lot cheaper than a bottle of Howes fuel lubricant...your truck, your money, do as you please...but I would be real careful of what I dump in my tank if I were you...but that's just my 2cents.
2002 Dodge Ram 6 SPD Fass pump, afe cold air, mbrp 4" ss exhaust, 275hp RV injectors, edge ez, isspro gauges, South Bend clutch, track bar updated to 03-07 style, dss steering stabilizer system, 285 Cooper Discover

$7000 optioin on a new truck $2500 option an a used truck and you want to risk it for free fuel. 100,000 miles at 14 mpg = 7142 gal of feul x $3.00 = $21,426 devide that buy the 5 years it will take you to get to 100,000 miles = $357/month. If ya cant afford that you should drive an escort. Buy good clean fuel. GAS or DIESEL. Just another mans opinion. Tim

6.0 injectors are NOT $1000 a piece, they are down to around 230-300 now

There are some old post about fuel prices that you could point out that are NOT current.

Mike wrote an article about this.

PUTTING TRANS FLUID IN YOUR FUEL IS THE WORST THING YOU CAN DO , UNLESS YOU JUST WANT TO HAVE YOUR INJECTOR PUMP REBUILT???? HOW THIS WHOLE THING GOT STARTED WAS BECAUSE OF THE OLD CUMMINS 150 BACK IN THE 1950's, THE INJECTORS WOULD GET CARBON SOOT BUILT UP ON THE TIP OF THE INJECTORS AND THEY FOUND OUT BY POURING TRANNY FLUID IN THE FUEL IT WOULD CLEAR OUT THE INJECTORS , PUTTING TRANSMISSION FUILD IN THE FUEL WILL TEAR A FUEL PUMP UP OVER TIME , THE CUMMINS 150 IS THE ONLY MOTOR CUMMINS HAD THIS PROBLEM WITH , THEY CURED IT WITH BUILDING A SMALLER INJECTOR PUMP. THAT'S HOW THIS WHOLE THING GOT STARTED ABOUT PUTTING TRANNY FLUID IN YOUR FUEL TANK = BAD IDEAL = BE THERE DONE THAT , TO THE TUNE OF $1,200.00 TO REBUILD THE PUMP ,YOU CAN CONTACT ANY OLD GUY THAT REBUILDS INJECTOR PUMPS = JUST THOUGHT I WOULD DROP THAT IN THE RING FOR YOU GUYS & GALS
