I have a 1992 3/4 ton extended cab I am going to pull soon. The stock drive shaft looks small to me. Do you know if the drive shaft on a 1 ton is bigger/stronger? I am trying to avoid the expense of having custom shafts built.  Any information/advise/help/suggestions that you have will be greatly appreciated!  

well the heavy duty version i think its 03 to 05 has a thicker drive shaft and beefier connections, and im pretty sure they can stand the strain, just have a few extras in case and dont forget your drive shaft hoops or chains, definitly need that setup too
