Has anyone tried any Lucas products, specifically the Lucas Upper Cylinder Lubricant. I've been using it in the wife's diesel VW for the past year and the fuel consumption has gone from 50 mpg to 55 mpg, I suspect that it cleaned up the injectors enough to make the engine more efficient. I use around 4oz per 10 gallons. The 2 stroke oil sounds interesting. The oil companies here on the East coast say they have introduced lubricity enhancers into the ULSD to compensate for the lack of sulfur. The main reason I use the Lucas produnt is that despite what the fuel producers say I don't want to take any chances with a new blend of fuel.

For the record, be weary about putting the additives in any common rail equipped engine. If you had an old school mechanical pump, then you'd likely see the best gain from this. Mr. DP editor, a good candidate would be a GM 6.2, Ford 6.9, or an 89-93 Cummins 6BT.
