I am looking for something around the $400 to be realistic.  I have been looking at the 6 position Bully dog chip or the quadzilla Xzillaraider.  I am also looking at pillar gauges.  I just need some suggestions and hints before i dive off into something i might regret later.  I borrowed a buddies tuner made by granatelli called the fuego.  and it impressed the *** out of me just wondering if there is MORE out there that makes me go fast and blow smoke on pedestrians???     any imput appreciated  THANKS

well sometimes it is a personnal prefrence on which is best and sometimes it is which one is really the best
you hve to take into account HP gain in rpm range that is stated 3400 vs. stock 3200rpm,tranny smart, fuel curves, boost mapping, and there are various other things that makes a "chip" to be the best of the best

Instead of a programmer AND guages, just buy an Edge PLATINUM or a Banks with the PDA. Sure they cost a little more, but I didn't have to dork around plugging in a boost guage, water/trans/oil temp guages, EGT and some guages I haven't even used yet! It reprogrammed my speedo too. What safety features are there in these low buck programmers? Saving a buck here and there could leave your trans on the side of the road!!

programmers are truly your choice for your application everyone will tell you theirs is the best because they like, but that doesn't mean it is the best out there.  Shop around and see what all they have to offer and see which one will best fit your applications.

go with the bullydog 4-bank you will like the power change on-the-fly and the power gains
if you are not satisfied try stacking the 6-gun or the striker on top of that
