Exhaust Filter!!!

Anybody take this thing off yet...Does it void the warranty???This thing needs some smoke and more sound!!  

somehow i could see that voiding a valuable warranty somewhere... it would be cool though for someone (cough, cough, gale banks...) to go through and really see what kind of power you could get out of that engine. if someone can figure out a way to hack into the stock programming to get rid of that regeneration program (not really needed without a dpf)and tweak it to compliment the great(and not so great) features on it i could see some big numbers in its future...

of course it won't be street legal by then, but most of us here in cali and elsewhere probably don't drive street legal trucks anyway... ; )

Well where I am there is no emissions testing so I could in theory take off the filter(for off road of coarse)and put it back on in the event of a warranty issue...Not that I would do such a thing...  

haha yeah, all law abiding, emissions compliant citizens eh, the only reason i don't have any of that crap on mine is that i lived in new mexico when i bought the truck and there aren't really alot of laws about anything regarding vehicles... lol so the plan is to just not get pulled over till the registration runs out and then try and figure somethin out...
