I was wondering if you could just tweak your factor injectors to create blacker smoke to enrich the fuel to air ratio I have 5inch stacks and I need blacker exhaust smoke
1999 24 valve with Edge Juice w/ Attitude, Southbend Clutch, 5 inch Stacks, 4 inch down pipe, Bosch 40 hp injectors, and Fass Fuel System

Sorry nope ,but this might help
http://www.xtremediesel.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=418
but you need more air if you decide to change the nozzles or you will just overfuel that 5.9 and burn it up

Dude...........Your right but he's right to more fuel = more smoke but also higher EGT if they get to high you'll burn it up so if you do add more fuel just add an EGT gauge too.

i don't reccomend this for any highway driving or anything like over 40 mph, but if you restrict your intake a little like cover half the intake so it is getting half the air, it will overfuel your engine alot more, but again this isn't good for a long period of time, more just to show off in town or put a cloud over some little car behind you...

Maybe late in the game but,
DiabloSport Predator makes my truck smoke like a friggin train in the extreme setting. EGT gauge is a must though.
2006 Dodge Cummins 2500Q 4x4 SLT. AEM Workhorse Induction. DiabloSport Predator r16 stacked with DiabloSport PowerPuck, Line-X(Over The Rail), Access Tonneau, 5% Window Tint. Recon LED Bar and Tail Lights.

hahahaha yup the predator is a mean machine, i only use the two setting and if your driving down the highway in third gear jam on it but let off before the truck shifts a nice cloud will billow out, and if your running bigger tires like mine, in cruise control you can slowly jam on it and before it shifts down to third hold it there it'll throw a nice trail down the highway, yeah ive practiced a lot lol

Yes smoke is wasted fuel and power, but its awsome. Black smoke is parcially, burnt fuel. If you have black smoke that meens you do not have enough air to burn it all. The sled pullers build boost for a launch which creates all the smoke. In an auto it will smoke alot and usually takes alittle bit to build boost. A manual is alot faster. Most smoke is from low boost thus why most smoke clears in most trucks once you boost up higher getting more air in to burn all the fuel. You can also put in a smoke swith which you wire a switch into the map sensors(cant remebers pins off top of my head) and it will send to the computer full boost and dump in the max fuel. It makes it fun at stop lights when it just poors out the smoke.
