06 Dodge Cummins 2500 4x4, Edge Juice w/ Attitude w/ Hot Unlock, Predator 2018 STG 3, S@B Air Intake, CFM+ Intake Manifold, 5" Turboback Magnaflow, South Bend DD 3600 Street Comp, Top Gun Custumz leveling kit. Dyno- 495HP-962TQ, 15.20 in the 1/4 Hot only
It really came down to cost for me. The S&B was right at $200, whereas, I believe the AFE is $400+. In addition, the S&B is fully enclosed so it keeps the engine heat and muddy water from the roads I frequent out of the filter. It sounds crazy, but their have been times when I was on muddy roads and I had a head wind that blew the water into my engine compartment from underneath or through the grill. Also, the S&B is either six or eight layers (can't remember right now), which was a couple more than most of the other brands. Food for thought.
go with anything other than a afe overpriced underpowered
2006 Dodge ram 2500 Crew cab short bed, K&N intake, Bully Dog Triple Dog W/ Crazy Larry, Quadzilla boost fooler, Boost & Pyro on A-Pillar, Magnaflow Exhaust. NEVER ARGUE WITH A IDIOT, THEY WILL LOWER YOU DOWN TO THEIR LEVEL AND BEAT YOU WITH EXPERIENCE!!!
afe has proven to be the best, yes they cost alot more but it is worth it. if that info came from testers and not just the company selling the product it would be different. Most people cant afford afe and s&b is half the price so they buy it. The s&b is a good intake also. If you can not aford the afe then you will be fine getting the s&b.

I picked up an AFE Intake today!! It sounds great!! Also when i hit the pedal i can definitely feel more response!! Got the recommendation of a big diesel shop in my area they say that they flow a lot better!
