Think it will ever come out, and if it does, what is your opinion on it? If it comes out with a small Diesel or Gas engine, what engine would you drop in it? (Cummins-My personal Choice, Duramax, or Powerstroke)
Dream Truck: 1977 Chevy with a Cummins Engine, Flatbed, Rollbar with Lights, and a Brushguard with Lights.

I would be tempted to run a UD (Nissan)TD33. As an owner of an original Gladiator (last year made 1973 but sadly rolled and wrecked) they once came factory.

I think the concept is cool. Jeep offers a pickup version of the Wrangler in some overseas markets (JT) and it offers a version of the old Liberty CRD's 2.8L 4-banger. That engine doesn't meet emissions over here anymore. Chances are, if it did come over, and if it did offer a diesel, it would probably be Mercedes' 3.0L V-6. That engine's good for about 210 hp and 400 lb./ft. of torque, so that wouldn't be a bad option.
