I personally would say stay away from Banks... none of there stuff seems to work unless you have the rest of the Banks stuff. I have the Bully Dog Triple Dog Crazy Larry on my truck and i love it. I also have it stacked with the Edge attitude hot juice and the throttle response is absolutly the best i have ever expirenced. Hope that helps.

i know i  said it before but i say go for the smarty. most variety of tunes...always free updates...makes the most trouble free power to date...230hp(at wheels not crank) tune coming out soon with +4000 rpm capability....excellent customer service! just take a look at the mads site and look at how many available tunes you can download for free for many different applications. only downside is be ready to upgrade your trans. if you do the research you will see for yourself.

I've been extremely happy with the diablosport predator/powerpuck stacker. I have not had it on the highest setting yet (RKL) only extreme. Just on extreme my clutch stops gripping at about 2600 RPM with full throttle and the puck on 90. I do get about 23 MPG on long trips without too many full-throttle sessions. When it comes to a chip I haven't decided which one quite yet.

Are you going by the over head computer or are you doing the math at fill ups?

After spending two hours on the phone w/ bully dog, I did get some help. I said before that I was not happy. It all started when I updated my unit about a month ago. The update took away crazy larry and a few other options. The biggest complaint was that the new extreme setting was comparable to the old towing setting. Long story short the tech. dept. e-mailed me a new program and I tell you it's way better that the original. But I'm still looking at the smarty.

One of my friends has the smarty on his Dodge and loves it. The only thing i personally dont like about the smarty is that it takes 20 minutes to upload a tune, i personally like the on the fly tunes that you can do with the Bully Dogg and the Edge etc... Yea i would agree with you on the Bully Dogg unit i took mine of my truck after it started randomly revving the motor up (Sometimes to 3200 RPM) just driving down the street. After i took it off i didnt have any problems. I think you will like the Smarty, i drove my friends truck on the highest tune (not sure what hp it was, sorry) and the throttle response was very very very good. Needless to say i was impressed. If it had a on the fly tunes i would definalty buy it.

With my lack of a counter on my auxillary fuel tank which I will normally top off completely then fill up as needed, the only thing I really have to go off is the overhead computer. Roughly estimating with the fuel tank half way mark VS odometer usually comes out pretty close to the computer. The only time I really track it is before a long trip. I also have the speedo programmed for a measured 36.5 inches. (the tires without weight are 37 Inches tall)

Also, before I added the Diablosport, when starting my truck sometimes it would crank over for 4-5 seconds before catching. After adding the programmer it has not done it since. I have never had any problems with random over-revving.
