I dont believe there are any chips for those years however you can turn the fuel pump up.

Pre 94s do not have a CPU the are mechanicly run. As stated above you can turn up the injector pump and get a little more out of her. If the truck is runing a turbo and you have some time you can turn up the boost some too. You will need a pyro and a boost guage to turn up both.

Supposedly the pre-Power Stroke 7.3s had a really restrictive turbo housing. You might want to look at upgrading that, too.

No offense, but trying to get power out of a non-turbocharged diesel really isn't worth it, IMHO. All you're going to get is a heavy, smoky fuel-hog. I would look into putting an aftermarket turbo on it. You'll get more power and better mileage. If you're going to spend the time on boring it out, etc, you'd be just as well off putting some lower-compression pistons in it and bolting on a turbo.

2.5 is really restrictive, get a turbo for it and a 3inch down pipe then stright pipe it with 4inch and get a 5inch tip.
