NEED BLACK SMOKE!!!

Hey all,
I have a 1998.5 24v Cummins that i've put a few upgrades into. Now here's what I would like, I would like to blow black smoke. Especially when i'm sittin next to a lil honda civic or somethin like that!  I believe that adjusting the air to fuel ratio will do that but I don't have a programmer and i'm still a rookie when it comes to diesel trucks. I've only had this puppy for about 7 months, the rest of the time I drove an old toyota pickup. Anyone got suggestions?

What programer do you have? If you want massive smoke get a Edge drag comp or BD race pro. they have a adjustable smoke control you turn it all the way up and its midnight in the middle of the day. But you do know that smoke is bad right? Im not talking enviromental reasons. Smoke is what makes the pistons melt and turbo fry.

Yeah don't worry I only want black smoke at certain times. The ol cummins is doin pretty good right now I would hate to screw it up!

Do the Edge drag comp & the BD race pro modules connect to the data link connector? If so then those options might be out because I already have a quadzilla xzt+ module connected to the data link connector.

yes, but you can actually stack the chips if you want, but id simply swap the quadzilla xzt for an edge comp or even an edge juice with attitude. I just installed the edge juice with attitude and in level 5, i can smoke like its a damn frieght train. plus with the edge juice w/ attitude, its got built in safety parameters that prevent the egts from getting too high. THe edge comp is more of an all out race programer, if you add it, make sure you upgrade your lift pump as well as your transmission if its an automatic.
1999 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 Cummins 24 valve, 5spd with south bend 550hp+ clutch, 150 horse injectors, Fram Boost intake(for now), Edge Juice with attitude, 150 gph fass fuel pump and much more, all together 450 dyno proven HP and 1170 ft lbs.

The XZT has a low boost fuel control built into it so it wont smoke a whole lot. I have the XZT and 100hp injectors and it dosent smoke much at all. I used to have the Drag comp and it would smoke like a SOB but it quit working. Like duke said swap em out.

Here in a week or two i'm gonna straight pipe it and throw in some bigger injectors so that might make a lil difference.

A little but as long as you are running the xzt it wont be as much as it could be

Im thinkin' about buying an Edge drag comp but im still a little confused as to how you can stack chips. Do you splice into the data link connector wires? Anyways you guys gotta check out some smoke clips off of Youtube.com like the one bluetech151 just pointed out. They're frickin' sweet!!!!

ok yeah I got it now, im retarded! I think I might just put in a smoke switch, it doesn't look too hard. I mean it looks like something I can do. Need to get a simple on/off switch and tap into the positive and neg. wires on the map sensor plug that connects to my xzt+ module and that should do it! I would love to get a programer here soon but that might not happen for a few months!
