check your fuses and relays for voltage and loose wires.its the only think of. my local mechanic lets me use his shop when he`s not busy so i have access to those tools. auto zone has a tool loan program setup try them if you don`t have the tools.

I Wanna Say Injectors But The Dealer Ok'd Them So Im Stumped. But My Truck Had The Same Symptoms And It Turned Out To Be The Injectors GM Even Had A Recall On The Injectors. But Ill Do Some More Reasearch For You Ill Call My Mechanic Who Owns A Diesel Repair Shop And A Duramax. Are There Any Other Symptoms Such As: Fuel In Oil, Excessive Smoke Or Anything Else Like That.?

No other symtoms. The dealer has had the truck for 2 weeks and they told me today that they cannot duplicate the symtoms that I told them. They drove it around, turned it off and turned it back on several times and told me they had no problem. They checked the injectors and the injector pump and all checked out okay. I guess all the times I had to sit for an hour before it would start up again was in my head.

thats an odd problem you have there man, does it crank real hard when trying to start it when it is warm and just not catch or does it kinda bog down trying to start it warm and not really get enough rpms to fire? in my opinion i think you should take it to someone else to get a second opinion. someone you know you can trust to go through it thouroughly...

yeah, you might check the fuel lines. it could just be an intermitten problem with it but if they have ruled out the injectors and fuel pump it has to be somewhere in there... maybe some kind of blockage in the tank...

definatly something in the fuel lines.possibly bad fuel.is it possible that you left the fuel cap open on a rainy day? because any water that could be in the tank would be settled when it`s cold or sat for awhile.then would get mixed up going down the road.but if you were low on fuel there would be too much water too fire.because of more fuel being used running down the road it would not die. i know this is a bit long but it`s the last thing i can think of.

Sounds like your getting a vapor lock somewhere in the fuel delivery.

so I got the truck back today and the verdict was that they couldn't find any problem. I drove it home, which was about 30 miles, plenty of time for it to warm up. I stopped and started it a couple of times to test it out and now it doesn't seem to have a problem. I'll give it a couple of days of driving and see what happens. Thanks for the info.
