Keep spoiled brat's trucks out of magazine

One thing I can't stand is the kids who get their daddy's truck in these magazines and get credit for it.  Some of these things cost at least $80,000 if not more.  I really don't want to read about some 17 or 18 year olds spending spree with daddy's money.  I worked hard and had to put up with alot to get my truck where it is now.  With all the deployments and being separated from loved ones especially during the holidays.  I think fixing up my truck is money well deserved and spent.  Please keep the rigs in your mag for the working man not a spoiled brat.

Thanks for a great mag away, John J.

Hey Guys, believe it or not, the editors do listen to you. Jason Sands especially is a cool guy, and is really into the grassroots diesel scene. He's on the forums every now and then. We try to "keep it real."

When I was in high school there was this kid that drove a corvette and had a hot girlfriend....his plate on his vette read SUX2BME....ha ha very funny.  I realized though, that his vette was still bad, even if he was a jerk.  Sometimes you have to just think of the vehicle as a vehicle, and not worry about the owner.

i think a lot of those feature trucks are owned by the companys making the power products we use or they are shops showing their fab abilitys and a good portion of these trucks end up as displays at the SEMA show to showcase their products. I was lucky this last year and was invited to SEMA. almost every truck i have seen (i get all the mags )i was able to look over at that show.
