I would have to agree. I own a 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 Quad Cab with the 6.7. It currently has 33000 miles and I have had to change my mind set on the way I drive. Before I bought the vehicle I was told that you cant be gently with this engine. "drive it like you stole it" was what I was quoted. Another thing is you have to be careful on what fuel you use in this truck. ULSD should be the only fuel you use. As for the fuel filter spend the money and buy the 5 micron filter. I have friends who didn't and spent thousands on fuel system damages because of fuel contamination.
This is a great engine with great power and performance but you have to use it in the manor in which it was designed.
I love my truck and wouldn't want anything else.

What came about the issue with injectors being rusted and blamed on bad fuel? Did the repairs covered by warranty? I am having this issue right now on a 2009 Dodge 3500. My repairs are near $12K and the vehicle is still not running correctly.

I have an 08 2500 and my check engine light has come on twice for something that has to do with my turbo pressure... also i have 6k miles on it and i havent yet gone into regen. is that normal? my buddy has a 08 6.4 and hes in and out of regen like twice a month and we drive the exact same places, so i dont know if my truck is becoming a lop :/
