Buying first diesel truck and want to add some good modifications that wont make me go broke. want to add 3"-4" suspension lift maybe 33" or if fit 35" tires. with this what else should i do to keep it running and handling like stock. Will be daily street truck. also i want to add intake, exhaust, programmer. anything else within resonable price that will help with power and mpg. thanks for any help. knowledge of diesel trucks is fairly basic.

well it sounds like you have a plan you could fit 33`s on a stock ford or dodge but the lift is nessacry on a ifs chevy. a 4" mandrel bent exhaust or stacks turbo back.and quite a few guys around here like edge juice w/ attitude monitor. if you get chip make sure you get boost pyro/egt and trans temp if it`s an auto.

Dont actually have truck yet, looking at maybe Ford 7.3 or a Dodge. Extended cab, long bed. Was just curious for some suggestions on anything that should be added with what i want to to help the truck run or any suggestions so i dont run into any small problems installing what i want to.

it all depends on the truck. get whichever one then we will have a better idea on what you need as products differ between trucks

well finally got a truck. All stock, considering basic upgrades like cold air intake, exhaust system, chip, and bigger tires, possibly a lift. With add-ons like these would anybody recommend adding anything else to help keep it running good and so i dont ruin anything. Also if i add bigger tires 35's probably the biggest i would go, should i install anything like new brakes or change the gearing it has 3.73 now. Used for daily driver, thanks for any help.

bigger brakes is one thing to consider since more rolling mass

Looking at adding an Edge Juice w/ Attitude, intake, exhaust will adding these raise my hp and torque enough that i should put in anything new such as a new cluth or a better transmission?? also with an intake system, i would like to get a dry filter intake, is there much of a difference performance wise btwn a dry filter system and a oil solution based filter??
