Better Intercooler for 1991-1993 Dodge Cummins?

Do any companies make a better intercooler, like the one they used in a story on here-BD Intercooler, for a first gen Dodge? I dont own one yet, but am getting on soon, and tow a lot. I need a better intercooler. I really need to know.

the one in the story is the only one i know of other than taking one from a newer truck.

Yeah, Dodge made some intercooled 12-valves, I'm pretty sure. You might be able to adapt the tubing and intercooler to the older non-intercooled one.

It's a huge pain in the butt to fit a newer intercooler into a first gen, but it can be done.  If I were you, I'd just get an intercooled model and keep your foot out of it when you're towing.  You should be fine.
