a clip board works real good for stopping an engine. they made us learn how to do it on the engines at nadc.

Oh yeah that sounds like it would work real good. Easier to use than a piece of wood. How long does it take before it'll shut off?

talking about a 12v being cheap to make power out of, i have spent $0 on mine. mine is a 96 5spd so it is already the 215hp pump on it and i pulled out the fuel plate and ground it down to a #10 and when i put it back in i slid it all the way forward and turned the afc screw all the way up and unhooked the vaccum to the waste gate and now it is a 350+rwhp truck with out spending the first penny. it will keep up with my 06 common rail on level 5 on my edge juice/attitude.

Jon12ValveCummins:
you have to be careful when you play with the pumps because if you turn it to high the engine will run away and rev to like 5500 rpms and blow so you should take off the intake to the turbo and have something solid to hold infront of the turbo to choke off the air supply incase it does run away on you so it doesnt sieze on you

I thought that only happened with the 1st gen VE pumps?
