I wanna know the community's opinion on this matter. Seeing that Diesel Power doesnt seem to like the Blowin Smoke Gang because of our ability to call people out on false facts and we also BS with each other on the Ben threads and the fact that we answer more tech questions then anyone else as a whole so there is reason to hate us. Anyways down to the point i have talked with my fellow members, all 15 of them, and we are considering pulling out of this site and letting it become like the Trukin' forum. I want your honest opinions spare no feeling that you have on this matter, believe me i can take the pain. Bring the rain.

I am in agreence with both of you.  The blowing smoke gang helps this site more then any other. like said above, we have members from all makes and models and we also have some of the most knowledgable people that actually take the time to answer tech questions.  What amazes me is that the editors and big shots want to restrict or do away with as by banning or whatever, when they put up with the crap from others that only insult people and ly through their teeth and act like they know something, while we try our best to give acturate advice and are activly trying to involve more people to this magazine and site. just my 2 cents, dont even know if its worth that so take it as you will  

I honestly try to help everyone out and answer as many tech questions that i know something about and i think that we need some theads to BS on because talking about tech stuff all the time is boring. If thats all we could talk about I'm sure my post count would be like 100. I'm sorry if i offened anyone with my humor i was just tryin to brighten peoples days and bring a little laughter in the diesel community with these hard times with stricter emissions and high fuel prices. And by my comment above if the Blowin Smoke Gang leaves the site than this site is gonna look like the Truckin Forum which is deader than a doornail. I'm just sayin this because i get on here to BS with people and help people with their rigs to the best of my ability. If thats not good enough than i guess ban me and the rest will follow and this Forum page will pass on. Hopefully DP will give us all the chance to stay and revive this site. I have friends that are interested about getting on and setting up accounts to share their ideas and to BS and make friends across the country but when they see me get on and nobody has posted in the last two days besides one or two posts they say "no I'll just find another site thats more interesting" I'm tryin to help ya out here DP. Lets get the site back to being fun instead of such a bore.

i agree E2, ive got a couple friends that have recently boughten diesel trucks and im trying to get them on this site and to subscribe to the magazine.  

As a new member to the site, and not a member of the blowing smoke gang I can give honest non bias opinion!

I have asked a few questions in here and so far the only answers that I have gotten are from member so the "gang".

I may not know a ton about after market products for diesel trucks but I am not new to being under a hood for a afternoon working on my own truck..

Sites like this need people like you guys to keep going, in fact if you took the 15 of you out of the picture then what would we be left with..

People that have a problem with brutally honest members of this site are only pissed cause somebody caught on to their crap and called them out on the table.. all I can say to the haters is GET OVER IT!! this is a big boy site..

i agree with wagon man.
the only reason i signed up for this site is cause i read a couple of the threads and fell into the floor laughing. isince the trash talk has calmed down i dont get on here but two times a week to check out whats goin on  

its true the blowing smoke gang does answer to alot of the question if it just gonna be all about tech and no bsing then ill cancel my account on here and will not renew to the mag.

I think if most of the DIESEL POWER MEMBERS get together on this thread, WE can stop this ship from sinking!! You don't change a good web-site, because of 2 SOUR-APPLE members, I guess we will let the DIESEL POWER MEMBERS post their comments, on the future of this web-site!!!!

diesel world does alot of tech stuff with the earlier 7.3 so ill prolly renew to their mag only

Well boys I'm still here!!! But yea the site needs us to stick around to revive it to what it once was or better!!! If the DP admins ban me they are gonna lose alot of members and this site is gonna keel over. It all comes down the YOU DP!!! If you want a healthy site I'd be willing to help ya out with the help of my gang but if not if you dont think we are serious than and ban me then i hope you like the dullness of the Truckin Forum!!!
