Does any of you have issues with this vehicle while driving on concrete roads. I have been having issues with vigorous vibration. When i took it to the dealer to get checked they replaced the dumplings and claimed it was not guaranteed to fix the issue. And Ford calls this normal characteristic of this vehicle. I live in California and we have a lot of concrete highways. When i get out of the vehicle i get a headache.

hey man something else you might have them check would be to make sure your driveline is still perfectly balanced, i.e. if your driveshaft is not balanced perfectly that could affect how the truck drives as well. i know that driving on concrete roads is a lot rougher than asphalt and it creates a lot more tire noise as well. but form what your saying it sounds like theres something else going on. id take it back to the dealer and tell them to check the driveline.

i have tried a couple dealers but seem like the same story every day and am just getting tired of it. When i drive on asphalt i don't have this problem only in concrete roads. The thing is Ford does not want to take responsibility i even asked them to take a ride with me but oh well its the vehicles characteristic as they call it.

no man something is not right with whats going on unless the concrete roads were you drive on are just extremely old and schitty. i drive my f-350 on concrete roads as well granted mine is SRW not a dually like yours but that shouldnt make that much difference. and the only thing that differs for me as far as i can tell is the amount of tire noise it produces probly doubles that of an asphalt road thats about it.

i looked up that part number you posted and read about it said it wouldnt help on concrete roads i hope yuo got that coverd under warranty and didnt have to pay for it. are your tires in good shape, and alignment right, and possibly you might have defective shocks that could be something to look into as well. and there are some dealerships you have to be extremely FIRM with you should go in on a day off from work and tell them your truck is not runnin right and not leave until they make something happen. i know it would be waste of a day off but if it helps get yuor truck fixed it would be worth it.

I have an 03 6.0L in california. It's the road. Ford can't fix that.

If the truck is a 2ws check your a arms or it you have an i-beam take it to a suspention shop and have them check it for bends. I also think the california roads are shitty. good luck

Super Dutys generally ride like crap in my experience. It's never going to ride like a Lexus. You might want to look at the Edelbrock IAS shocks. I've heard good things about them.

Yep it is horrendous. I have a 2005 crew cab dually 4x4 long bed. I messed with this for a long time and have come to the conclusion there is only one real fix. I tried many different shock types and combinations monotube and adjustable but that provided little help. Also I tried a 6" lift kit and that didn't have any effect at all (good or bad).
The best quick fix I could find was to run the rear tire pressure really low like 30lbs, that helped a little. My research shows that if you want a good fix, then have rear springs from the 2008 mounted on your truck. They are about 10inches longer with the longer part being in front of the wheel...apparently this solves the problem.

Dont you think the dealership should fix this for free if you are under warranty?
