Can you substitute Jet fuel for diesel #2?

dont think so but you can try. i know in gas if you do it actually creates a explosion because of the compression is too high so it might make a really big explosion

I have run JET-A in my old idi Ford and the guy that used to get it for us ran it in his 12 valve. You have to add a lubricate, but we had no problems.
2002 Dodge Ram 6 SPD Fass pump, afe cold air, mbrp 4" ss exhaust, 275hp RV injectors, edge ez, isspro gauges, South Bend clutch, track bar updated to 03-07 style, dss steering stabilizer system, 285 Cooper Discover

well i know that in the humvees we have that you can put jp4 in em and they'll run a little hotter but run they will. wonderin why you would want to run it through your diesel? its way more expensive than diesel #2

Transport Canada rules state that any fuel pumped out of a aircraft(for maintenance etc) cannot be reused. They used to just spray it on the logging roads to keep the dust down. Now most of it makes it's way into pick-up trucks. There's no fuel like free fuel!

I have always been curious about runnin JET A fuel in my trucks because i can get as many tanks as my truck can handle from the local airport. They have loads of that stuff out there that they dont even use. What lubricant do i also need to add to make it run better?

What's the difference between JP4 and JP8? Just curious.
