Caterpillar Inc. disclosed Thursday that it will stop selling heavy-duty truck engines in the U.S. market in 2010 - a major break in the company's historic strategy - and unveiled a "strategic alliance" with truck maker Navistar International Corp. that calls for Navistar to begin producing a Caterpillar-brand heavy truck designed for "severe service" applications. oh god say it isnt so....... id hate to have the new motors be like the early 6.0s and 6.4s

my lug nuts need more torque then what your honda makes

2006 f-350 lariat 4in exhaust& downpipe, 6sp. man., banks intercooler & boost tubes,high ram intake,air intake, six gun, pda, 2 in.skyjacker lift 35x13.50 mickey thompson atz's on 20" diamo 8 karats,arp headstuds
97 f-250 4x4 351, looking for a dana 60 and a  12v cummins for a little project

Navistar will continue to products works of art like the 6.0 and the 6.4. The deal with Caterpillar and Navistar is for medium duty on highway trucks, like school buses and utility trucks.
