Hey rocketron-
I wrote to an email to TDC technologies explaining the problems with my CRPlus box (purchased almost one year ago), and they're going to send me a replacement with some "Programming Variations". I'm very curious to see how the new box works, but either way, a company that is willing to replace a product a year later, with a modified product to fix a problem, is a great company.
And like I said before on my Liberty, the box made virtually no difference until I removed the 2 foot long muffler. I'll have to check out the Spider though-

Maddmechanic,
What happened to your GC CRD? I just got one and CE light came on along with a Trans over temp message on the info display? This thing has less than 1K miles on it WTF! Both the message and the check engine light went out after the Jeep was restarted a few times about an hour later but come on, I wasn’t even driving it hard.
Maybe I should have just kept my trusty old 5.9 diesel Dodge?

The article in DP mag where they installed a S&B air filter and MBRP DPF back exhaust made no additional power. Have had no problems with my CRD GC other than the engine speed control light came on while I was stuck in snow. It reset though. What I need to know is dose anybody know what size thread is on the oil pressure sending unit? Am trying to install an oil bypass unit and would like to "T" into this location. Kinda hard to remove it and drive around town to find fittings!

I have an 07 I've put 34500 mile on it with no problems. Make sure you putting ULTRA LOW SULFER DIESEL. If you put low sulfer diesel it with mess up your DPF. Ultra low has 15 ppm in it compared to low sulphur which has 550 ppm

We just put a module from TS Performance on ours. It seems to have yielded some gains, and we'll know for sure after we dyno it. Their module is probably in the $450-$500 range.

Ok, I’m up to 10k miles and the CE light has not reappeared but one of my tire psi indicators goes on the fritz every once and a wile. Anyway, has anybody tried to hook up one of the tuners for the new Sprinter vans with the 3.0 CRD to a GC CRD? I can’t believe they make tuners for just about every MB with the 3.0 but not the Jeep… that’s just not right. I did see DP is working with a company to develop something for the GC programmer/tuner wise and I can’t wait!
Have any of you had good luck with your MPG’s? I average 21-23 30% city and 70% highway, does this sound about right for the 4X4? I’ve had a personal best of 27.3 over a 75 mile stretch but I was really babying it (55mph max). I think more than 27.3 people gave me the finger that day so I’m not sure it’s worth it yet?

MBK3.0: Maddmechanic,

Hey sorry it took so long to get back to ya, (and for the longish reply) I'm not getting email updates about forum changes, have to check that...
Anyway, it was basically a big piece of crap. I drove mine for only three days before it went to the dealer never to return. A few trips putzing around town, and one trip about 700 miles, 350 each way. During that trip, the first leg, a driveline vibration became apparent, and by the destination, it had given me a headache. On the way back, it increased a few orders of magnitude, and my head was splitting. It was clearly destructive vibration going on somewhere. I took it back with 850 miles on it, and the bastards added another 400!! that they charged me for when they 'repurchased' it. Scumbags. Turned out the front driveshaft was way off balance, and so were the next three!!! replacements they got. Great quality control. After finding and installing a 'good' front driveshaft, they realized they had to install a new front differential and a new transfercase. All in 850 miles. Guess I could have grenaded it with a few more highway trips. On that note, I wrote a nice letter to Chrysler telling them what a piece of garbage they had sold me and how disgusted I was, and in another few days (thy had it for weeks now) it would be eligible for a refund via the Lemon Law, and I was going to sue them.
Another week and I received a reply offering to 'buy my vehicle back', how nice. I had it for NOT EVEN ONE WEEK! Got my money back less the mileage, a third of which they put on it.
My current 06 Liberty CRD has just hit 40k, and it's a mess. Front pinion seal is practically not there. I don't think the front diff will live much longer. There's a major leak at one of the turbo oil lines (haven't looked that closely, cuz I don't care if it blows up, it's got a lifetime warranty), lower ball joints are damn near falling apart, and the torque converter has terrible, terrible shudder, which was the reason for the recall in the first place. Damn plastic stator. It's all junk, and I'm done with them. Time to build my own again.
I'm currently looking for a 5 speed XJ and a mechanical 4BT to drop in it. The 6.2 Blazer is running fine, and about to get an HX35 and powerstroke intercooler.

Yep. I allready bought a new pressure indicator just to find out. Ya can't exactly remove it then drive up town to see what size it is! Let us know what you come up with on the gauge set up. Would be nice if there was some sort of gauge pod!
