What kind of fuel do you buy? Exxon, Texeco, Conoco, ect. I have noticed that with fuel prices going up, my fuel econemy is going down. I beleave that even thought the price is going up, the quality is going down. Has anyone else noticed this or am I the only one. Let me know.....

I have had the best luck with Chevron fuel. Seems to give the best mileage.

I am having trouble finding a Chevron in Austin, TX that sells Diesel. I see them all over the place, but none of them sell Diesel around here. Maybe I'm just not looking hard enough.

Even though they're not the cheapest for unleaded, I've found Mobil and Shell in my area have the cheapest diesel.
I don't know how many of you guys use this tool, but I look on gasbuddy.com for the cheapest fuel prices in my area.

Around here I have found that Murphy's has the cheapest fuel($4.56) but I do not get very good fuel mileage with it. I found a Chevron station with Diesel ($4.69). I'm going to fill up and see what happens.

I use Exxon here..... But lately with prices up I have been buying red fuel for $2.05 a gallon. If i cant get to the red station because either the cops have it surrounded or they i dont have my pass card then i fill up at either Shell or Exxon. I get good mileage with Shell but they are farther from my house then the Exxon station.

i cant stand shell, i dont use it in my truck, id rather walk. the rare times i did fill up with shell, i had the worse economy, power and even fuel pressure. I destroyed 2 factory lift pumps on shell ULSD in one month, but that was when they were the cheapest around by 50 cents then, now they are bout 30-40 cents higher then anybody else. Also, back in march, i filled up at a shell cause they were the only station still open after hours and i wanted to pay in cash instead of credit card and after filling up i got 15 miles down the road and my truck took a crap, wouldnt run worth *** couldnt idle, not even enough power to run more then 35 mph, i turned around, nursed it home the 35 miles and took a sample of fuel into cummins to see if that caused a problem and it came back tested at 82 percent gasoline!!! I took it into shell, they argued that there was no way that was possible cause nobody else complained and told me i must have filled up on gas, even though i had my recipt showing what i filled up on and what pump(it was a diesel only pump), two days later in the paper, there was a big article about how shell accidently filled its diesel tanks with gas, but they wouldnt refund our money or anything, people are still sueing over that one. Ill never fill up with shell again. I typically like to use sunoco or thorton diesel stations, i get the best power and economy on their fuels, heck walmarts brand aint been bad either.
