I just filled up my truck at $4.99, so now Im seriouisly looking into running biodiesel. I was looking at this website dieselsecret.com and they say all you have to do is add this stuff that they send you when you order the stuff and mix it with filtered wvo and you can pump it straight into your tank. Has anybody had any experience with a system like this? Is anybody running it right now? There are alot of restraunts near where I live so Im sure I could get the wvo without any problems but I need to know if I start using this instead of diesel whether it will work well and be reliable. I cant afford to be without a truck for a week if the wvo messes something up. Thanks for the help guys

I did try it put it did not work. I had to take the tank off and drain it. My truck is working fine. I took some short cuts with caused a contamination of my fuel. Do what it tells you to do and maybe it might work. The most important is to filter the oil right. Good luck.

Would it work better to run vo in a 98 12 valve or 99-02 24 valve Cummins?

hahaha yea i feel ya brother...i was wondering about that to but couldnt find out much and most of the resturaunts i talked to said that someone already buys there stuff from them....but i did instead go with this thing i found out here in texas from these crazy rednecks that had a hydrogen setup on a 07 3500 cummins and he made a unit called a "diesel fuel xciter" that wraps around your fuel line....its wierd but im pulling about three more mpg and a little less smoke on my 01 5.9 cummins but there about to come out with there hydrogen unit that supposeably will take you bak in your seat through every gear and still give you like 30 something miles to the gallon...sounds crazy but check em out www.dieselfuelxciter.com i think there site might be down but you can still see pics of there stuff

The problem it won't run. The engine will turn but would shut off within 10 seconds. I will try again in a small engine and I'll let you know how it went.
