You haven't heard anything good about Cummins?....and your running an '04 6.0... known throughout the industry as probably the most problematic diesel produced. Have you ever driven a 1991 Ford diesel...well I have and let me tell ya if you think your 1991 12v was gutless,it was a rocket compared to the Ford...at least your Dodge had an intercooler, the Ford didn't even have a freakin turbo!!! I'm not knockin ya for lovin you Ford, I'm a Ford fan as well but there are alot more Cummins and D-max in the winner circle than 6.0's.

Milstak, sounds like you're one of the lucky ones that actually got a reliable 6.0. They don't exactly have the best rep, but that's not to say there weren't a few decent ones out there.

We had a 6.0 litre at work, i work for a custom farming company, so we did a lot of towing, hay wagons with 4x4x8 bales on it, baggers, blowers, floats you name it, and i was not the least bit impressed with that truck at all.  Im not bashing ford, im not one of those guys that trash talks whatever i dont drive but we have a 7.3 on our farm and i think when it push comes to pull, the 7.3 was the better of the 2, havent driven a 6.4 yet tho

2002 Duramax-stock for now.

I have been gone for a while in europe and i come back and my dad went out and bought a 08 Silverado. We use it on the farm and my 02 cummins. Well we were hauling hay about 20 rolls on my dodge and about 30 on his gm. we were just going along and he passed me and i was going 70 up a steep a** hill.  we got to the barn and he told me he was hitting 80 plus with atleast 15000 pounds. Im not saying gm is the best but they are pretty good.
