well the guys that put the porky's diesel night  party together for the last three times, will not be able to do it anymore thanks to   people not showing up  
I now  Diesel wrencher 1 and S&Dqthrs showed up and a few other regulars that showed.
I now of at least a half dozen of my friends and people I handed flyers out and talk to that said they were going to show up that *@%* in my pockets any the event orginzer also by not showing up.

you now it's kind of sad that people can go in these forums and whine and cry about not having anywhere to go to talk and show off there diesel,

I have nothing to say but stop crying about it because you are the ones that did not show up or even resplond to the threads that we all put on these diesel sites  to tell you about a great eventand then pull this crap.

so I do not want to hear about how much you love diesel's because it must be all in your head because you sure the heck did not try to support getting this event up and going I sure the hell am not going to waste my time trying to spread the word on anything anyone on here wants to try to put together except for Diesel Wrencher1 and his dad.  

im not sure what event you are talking about, first time ive heard of it.  Besides, this event was not the only one where people didnt make it for whatever reason.  

now that said, things do come up and with the price of fuel and the economy loosing jobs, not everbody can afford to drive their rigs to an event half way across the country or in some cases the state.  Lets face it, good diesel events are far and few between and often times scattered in just a few remote places.  Relax man, im sure it was nothing personal, just my 2 cents  

timing is everything i know i cant be at one show friday night and another show over in texas saturday, and i havent heard of people whining and complaining about not being able to go to a place and talk about diesels.  

not everyone can make it to truck shows, like said above fuel costs are sky high so quit your whining. i know i wouldnt wanna spend 200 bucks to go to a show in texas when the same kind of show will be here closer to home.

me niether, it sounds like one of those unoffical get togethers people try to throw that simply involve parking your trucks in a parking lot at a restruant and then eating  and then complain when nobody shows up even though theres nothing to entice them to come.  

a good show will have vendors, a dyno, maybe hald at a drag stip or at the county fair grounds for sled pulls  

yep, exactly, if you want to have a good event, youve got to have more then the local pub as an attraction.
