I know you could get a regular cab short bed ram 1500 and 3500 but what about a regular cab shortbed 2500? I've never seen one but want one real bad. i know you can't get one anymore but did they ever make in the 1994+ body style. If not could i make a 3500 in that body style sing rear wheel with a 1500 bed on it easily
or can i get a new 3500 cab chassis in reg cab short bed?

or you could just cut down a 2500 and put a shortbed on it im actully considering doing it to my '03 2500  

i thought about it but i don't think i have that kind of fabrication and wwelding skill yet but it seems like you can get a 3500 cab chassis in srw reg.cab short bed configuration but im not sure \

as far as i know a reg cab 3500 cab chassis your thinking of is for an 8 foot bed.  

when i was looking for trucks, i stumbled across only one, it was a 95 regular cab short bed truck 2500 4x4 cummins.  but thats the only regular cab, short bed truck ive seen, so they made them, but good luck finding one.  

prolly very rare if they are around.  

My guess is that was probably a cut-down frame. You could make it look stock from the outside, and even make it look pretty clean & factory from underneath, but there would probably be some giveaways. As far as I know, the smallest 2500 series truck made by anyone was a regular-cab long-bed.  

I saw an 04 Dodge 2500 regular cab short bed for sale in this town in PA a few years ago.  It was at a Dodge dealership and it looked like it came that way from the factory, but I didnt ask about it so I dont know for sure

Hate to burst your bubble, but that site has slightly less than reliable data when it comes to configurations.    There's a chance they might offer that model in Mexico or South America or something, but as far as I know, that bodystyle has never been offered for the U.S. or Canadian markets.  

i'm sure they don't offer it in the newer body styles but i'm sure i've seen one in the 1994 body style. in fact i thought i saw one the magazine but i'll have to check

yeah i know but i'm pretty sure that you could last year or the year before. it really sucks.

but their for a while their big advertising thing was you could any of their trucks in any cab and bed configurations.

you couldnt last year if you seen one with the new body style in a reg cab short bed it was custom done. i called a dodge dealer today and guy told me its been atleast 15 years since they made one.
