i picked up a grille guard 2nd hand and canget to the mounts to install and fasten it with out something in the way. it mounts with brackets via the tow hook mounts.  pulled out tow hooks installed brackets and couldn't get the bumper back on didn't fit through the holes and can't access that area with bumper on any suggestion?  

you are suppost to leave the bumper on while instalation.  

how did you get the tow hooks off . the grill gard uses the same holes. only if you got one for the correct year , make , and model
