change oil regularly. because of the HPOP (high pressure oil pump)that pressurizes the oil to actuate the injectors the oil breaks down easier, causing less pressure which means less power, less mpg's, etc. Same kind of injection system is used on caterpillar C7's and 3126's

Yep. Keep your oil as clean as possible. The 7.3s are reliable, but HEUI injectors can cause problems if you don't take care of them. I found <u><strong>this link</strong></u> that gives a good explanation of how they work.
