whatever, ive been under quite a few 2nd gens and just a few 3rds, however, i can tell you the intercoolers on the 2nd gens are much better then on 3rds, on a 2nd gen you dont need an intercooler upgrade until you are pushing well over 60 psi and 600 hp, if you dont believe call schieds or any other honest diesel shop, they;ll tell you the same thing

I am gonna have to agree with THE DUKE man. These 3rd gen intercoolers and incredibly effecient. To buy one now with what he has (hummins) then it would be a complete waste of money. By then he could have the intake, elbow, and injectors.... In my opinion I would go with water meth injection, thats me, I like it alot so yeah. It's a must if you pull by the way.
