Ever heard of a Kubota installed in a Jeep Wrangler? I have a 84 wrangler and have a really good access to Kubota 4 cyl diesels. Not looking for alot of power, just milage.

its not a jeep but an instructer in college was swapping in a kubota 3cyl in a little car. he was working out the kinks when i got out i think. the way he had it configured it was going to be getting 75mpg doing 65mph

Never heard of that combination before, but no reason it couldn't work. Kubota makes some 4-cyl engines, I believe.

Yeah i work at a Kubota dealership and most tractors that i have seen(mostly new models) have 4-cyls(40+ hp). When you get above 50 hp or so they are turbo charged. All of the ones I've seen, except the M108, have inline inj. pumps. The M108 is turbo charged and has common-rail injection. I think it makes about 100 hp. I'd like to put the engine out of the M108 into my 1995 Dakota, which currently has a 4-cyl gutless gas engine with over 200K miles on it.
