06cumminspower: well this is irreleavant because my truck is a dodge but last saturday was Mopars At the Rock at rockingham dragway and i averaged 21.3 mpg's driving down and back from greensboro, running down the track 4 times, and idleing in line for probably an hour worth of waiting in line to run. i will out run, out pull, and get twice the mileage doing it in my cummins. no need for me to spend 50k on a new powerjoke only to get worse mileage than a gasser that cost 8,000$ less that burns fuel that is 70cents cheaper. just my 2 cents
If you are looking that your lieometer you can average 21.3 If you hand calulate it will be less. dodge or not

There is no way that you are getting 20 mpg in town.... I cant even get that out of my wifes Tahoe.... and i drive like an old man on his way to the grocery store.... I have a 08 6.7 listed in my sig and I can get 18 on the hwy completly unloaded and I can barely squeak out 15 in town. My brother put intake exhaust and a edge chip on his truck and the mileage stayed right at 16 unloaded.... loaded he can get up to 10mpg but not any higher than that. I really dont believe a 96 12v gettin 20mpg.... When i first got my 12v in 2005 (reg cab long bed manual) I couldnt do any better than 16 and that was with 245 tires!!!! Yea so thats bs.
