i have a 06 f350 6.0 and it was oil pump and it ran til I shut it off and the presure dropped too low to restart-(not enough pressure to fire the injectors) i got mine fixed at dealer bc it had to be diagnosed with a scan tool and also got it done under warranty  

I have a friend who has a 05 f350 dually crew cab.Took to ford dealler and said one side injectors quit, when driving it home he said it started running right again.He has now bought a 05 6.o partially torn down and let set for 2yrs, pistons seem to be rust welded in.any ideas on way to get rust out so can rebuild it?have no idea...any help mush apreciated...bruce  

Bruce I would give Jasper Engines a call they rebuild a ton of motors especially powerstrokes.......If anyone can give you an idea as to how to get them out it should be them.
