Out here, you don't have much of a choice. All the diesel sold in CA is now ULSD. You might want to use a lubrication enhancer, but I'm not very familiar with them.

I know Gold Eagle makes some products for diesels. It's the same company that does the Sta-Bil fuel stabilizers for gas cars. Don't have much experience with their diesel products.
RBP also has some additives, but I don't know if they make them themselves, or if they're private-label.
I also found this company called FPPF that seems to have a lot of industrial-type lubrication products. Again, don't know much about them.

I wouldnt worry about it too much I run red in my 6.7
After all the BS that a new gen truck wont run on red blah blah blah I decided why not try it whats the worst it can *** Not run???? So the third tank i put in the truck was completly red fuel with all the emissions stuff on. Guess what? The truck ran great in fact better than when i put in the usld fuel. Now all that emissions crap is off and buried somewhere in my shop and the truck runs way better.

I have an 04.5 cummins and usually fill up with ULSD. I religiously add Power Service additive whenever I fill up and have seen no adverse affects after 73,000 miles.
