i installed a full set of gauages in my '99 5spd 24v and whenever the boost starts getting up over 8psi the gauge starts to rattle. Its loud enough i can hear it over the road noise and the radio. I can pull the gauge from the pod while im driving and can feel it rattling internally. Is it just transmitting noise from the motor via the boost tubing? it is a ISSPRO gauge from diesel manor, it appears to be working fine just making some noise. so.....is this normal or is the gauge defective?

did you tap into the boost tube or bye a screw in adapter from genos garage with it you dont have to drill or tap nothing put it in my buddys truck and no problems and what gauages are you running
2001 dodge with 5in exhaust k@n intake with edge comp box,2in leveling, added holley blue lift pump kit member-"Blowing Smoke Gang" Ranchhand bumbers

i removed one of the intake manifold bolts and installed the boost bolt adapter and its running straight from there to the boost gauge. as stated above, its a ISSPRO EV 40PSI boost gauge.

thats the same guages in my buddys 02 dodge truck and he had no problems it may be a bad boost guage

id say a bad gauge
1999 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 Cummins 24 valve, 5spd with south bend 550hp+ clutch, 150 horse injectors, Fram Boost intake(for now), Edge Juice with attitude, 150 gph fass fuel pump and much more, all together 450 dyno proven HP and 1170 ft lbs.
