i currently have a sierra denali it is nice and all but i want a diesel truck, i am a gmc guy so i know for the most part what i can expect ride-wise, but since this being a whole new thing for me im not too sure what is better n what isn't, could anyone lend me some advise of what works best for being a power machine.

i really would like 2 fix up this diesel truck 2 be a street legal dragster without hurting my pockets on after market parts that some trucks have standard while others don't

without hurting the pockets id say a 12v cummins cheaper to get power out of them. but if your looking for daily driver you might wanna trade you truck in for an lbz duramax

i just want something to be different since i live in the philly area not too many ppl have these type of truck fixed up

The cummins would be cheaper but if you are a gmc guy the duramax does have alot available for it at a fair price. i would suggest picking a power level you want and reasearching both the D-max and Cummins to find the cheapest cost for the power then make your decision from there
