Hello Folks! I am totally new here, so please forgive me if I am doing this wrong in some way.
I have a 1987 V20 Suburban with the 6.2, it came equipped with the Heavy Duty version of the DB-2 listed to fit 1987 to 1989. I am in need of replacing the injection pump and have access to a new one that is listed for a 1990 to 1991 Heavy Duty. However, I don't want to cause a problem that may exist by swapping!
Does anyone know the differences in these applications, or what problems I may be running into?

Folks, I really need some input on this! I am ready to do the removal/install just as soon as I can track down the answer.
